Sorry to be such a doomer, but I fear 'recession' is rather optimistic, and 'depression' much more realistic.
But, paraphrasing something that someone said to me recently - maybe there will be an increased need for books to cheer children up!
This slight change in my thought process may not seem like a big deal, but it took the pressure off and put the act of writing in the same category as anything else I might do during the day. I managed to do this for a few days in a row and the outcome was a finished chapter of my first draft. Author's Unite
